I use to buy chocolate dipped mangos in the bulk section at Whole Foods. It was rather pricey, so they became a once in a while decadent treat. Then I realized how easy it would be to make these little treats and I could save on the cost. Now who doesn’t like to save a little money and still indulge once in a while. Kind of like having my cake and eating it too.
All you need is your favorite chocolate bar and dried mangos. That’s it and you have a rich decadent chocolate treat. Oh, and if you are a almond butter lover, like me, dip these little treats in freshly ground almond butter and you’ll have a heavenly dessert.
Dark Chocolate Mangos
- 1 bar of your favorite chocolate ( I use 1/2 bar Chocolove 70% chocolate and 1/2 bar Chocolove Orange Chocolate Bar)
- Dried Mango’s
Break up chocolate bar and place in small bowl or glass measuring cup. Microwave 1 minute and stir until melted.
Dip one end of mango into melted chocolate. Place on parchment paper until dried.
